Registration Procedures
LETTERS OF INTENT
To enroll in Northshore Charter School for the next school year, Letters of Intent will be mailed with the 2nd 9 weeks’ report cards on January 7, 2026. Parents will have until Monday, February 23, 2026, to submit the form to ensure a spot. On Monday, March 10, 2026, an Open Enrollment period will begin and end on April 13, 2026. A lottery will be conducted on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for any grade in which the number of applications exceeds the space available. Please find the fornm below.
LOTTERY & WAIT LIST
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of seats available for any grade level, a computer-generated random lottery will be conducted to determine who is offered a seat at the school. Applicants applying to grades with zero open seats will be entered into a lottery to determine the number on the waitlist. All applications submitted within the application period will have an equal opportunity for admission, regardless of whether they are submitted on the first day or the last day of the application period.
Faculty students and siblings of current students have preferential placement for open seats. Siblings who are applying for the first time will receive preference only after one of the siblings has attended for one year.

Welcome to Northshore Charter School! We are excited that you are considering joining our NCS family!
Registration packets are available to download below or may be picked up at the school office. Parents and guardians can complete the registration packet electronically using a computer or mobile phone, or print the packet and complete it by hand. Click the link below
NCS Registration Packet Fillable
All incoming students must submit a completed registration packet along with all required documentation.
Kindergarten Eligibility: Children who turn 5 years old on or before September 30 are eligible to register for Kindergarten.
How to Complete Your Registration Packet
Using a Computer:
- Download the registration packet using the link below.
- Open the downloaded PDF using Adobe Acrobat Reader (free).
- Click on the fillable fields and enter the requested information.
- Save the completed packet to your computer.
- Choose one of the following options to submit your packet:
- Print: Print the completed packet, sign all required sections, and bring it to the school office with all required documentation.
- Email or Fax : Email the completed PDF to the school along with all required documentation. Any required signatures must also be completed. Alicia Rhoades at fax number 985-732-0580 or email, ahar@northshorecharterschool.org
Using a Mobile Phone (iPhone or Android):
- Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Download the registration packet using the link below.
- Open the downloaded PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Tap the fillable fields to enter your information.
- Save your completed registration packet.
- Choose one of the following options to submit your packet:
- Print: Print the completed packet, sign all required sections, and bring it to the school office with all required documentation.

Important: Completing the registration packet electronically does not automatically submit it to the school. You must either print and return it or email the completed packet. All required documentation and signatures must be provided for registration to be complete.
Prefer to Complete the Packet by Hand?
You may print the registration packet and complete it by hand, or stop by the school office to pick up a printed copy.
Required Documentation
Please review the checklist on the first page of the registration packet and make sure all required documents are included when submitting your application.
Incomplete registration packets will not be accepted.
